The Delaware County Engineer's Office has submitted the results of an intersection study requested by the Township. The study, guided by state standards, concluded that there are unwarranted stop signs due to low traffic volumes in the following locations: Saint Andrews Drive at Frasier Road, Somerset Avenue at Gainey Court, Hilmar Drive at Grisham Street, and Hilmar Drive at Pine Hollow Drive.

As a result, it is recommended that Genoa Township remove the stop signs that had been installed in error many years ago as a misguided traffic calming measure.

Holiday lights are not accepted in curbside Rumpke bins, but a special collection box will be available at Township Hall in order for the material to be recycled properly.

Christmas trees will also be accepted separately from curbside materials at the Township maintenance facility to be chipped and used as mulch within community parks.
