Yard Waste
Rumpke accepts yard waste at the curbside along with regular trash, but this material is not composted.
Price-Farms Organics and Kurtz Brothers accept yard waste (including holiday trees) for composting year-round. There is no fee for drop off at the facilities located at

2023 Seasonal Recycling Programs:
- Spring Clean-Up Dumpsters (separated metal, general trash, organic yard waste): April 22-30, 2023
- Fall Composting (organic yard waste only): Throughout November
Dedicated yard waste dumpsters are placed at the maintenance facility for leaves, grass clippings, tree stumps and branches, paper yard bags, and any other organic material that will break down as compost throughout November. Plastic trash bags, plastic pots, metal, or other general trash should NOT be placed in the dumpsters. Misuse of the dumpster may result in the program being discontinued by the Township’s composting partner.
Never rake leaves into the roadway where it can contribute to flooding.
