Traffic Enforcement

Traffic enforcement is a major role of any Police operation. Genoa Township Police actively enforce traffic laws and aggressively pursue impaired drivers.

Residents may report areas with regular traffic concerns to the Department to be reviewed by the Department.  A speed monitoring device that provides real-time feedback on driver speed can be temporarily stationed in problem areas to study traffic and remind drivers of speed limits. In high-risk crossing areas, crosswalks with Rapid Flashing Beacons, and permanent radar signs have been installed.

To report a traffic concern, submit a request via the Citizen Request Center.
