Overview
The Fiscal Department ensures that Township operations conform to generally accepted financial accounting and management principles. The Department has oversight responsibilities for forecasting, budgeting, monthly reports, purchasing, billing, and payroll.
The Township Fiscal Officer keeps an accurate record of the proceedings of the Board of Trustees at all of its meetings, and of all its accounts and transactions, including the acceptance of the bonds of Township elected officials and appointed employees.
Genoa Township was awarded a AAA Bond Rating by S&P Global in 2019.
