Vendor Permit

Genoa Township requires all vendors to register at the Police Station. Each individual who will be going door-to-door must be registered, as opposed to one permit per company (maximum 12 per company). Vendors include those who sell goods, or services door-to-door. Nonprofit groups such as the Girl Scouts or school groups are not considered Vendors. 

Registered vendors are permitted to operate between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. No solicitations are to be made on Sundays, holidays or at homes with "No Solicitation" signs posted.
