Citizen Police Academy

Once a year Genoa Township Police invites residents to experience the duties of law enforcement as a member of the Citizen Police Academy.  The cohort meets for two hours once each week for 10 weeks to explore topics such as patrol procedures, community policing, live-fire exercises (including "Taser", handguns, shotguns and rifles) introduction to narcotics, and O.V.I. testing.
