Gateway Park
An unremarkable sliver of barren land connects Northgate Way to Mt. Royal Avenue. By car or bike, thousands of people pass it daily without a second thought. Plans are coming to life as construction continues spring 2022 to refresh this small piece of parkland and transform it into a usable area where people can park their bikes to visit nearby businesses or rest before continuing along the Ohio to Erie Trail. For people passing by car, the updated landscape will provide a welcome to the community.

Join in celebrating Genoa Township’s new Gateway Park that will welcome visitors as they enter Delaware County along the Ohio to Erie Trail. Those present for the ribbon cutting at 10:00 a.m. will receive a chance to win a gift basket full of biking gear.
Gateway Park is located just north of United Dairy Farmers at the southeast corner of State Route 3 and Mt. Royal Avenue.
Bring your bike, scooter, or walking shoes and travel north to find more fun throughout the day in neighboring communities who share frontage along this state and national trail. View a full calendar of events at PreservationParks.com/Trailapalooza
