 Current Development Projects

 
The following projects are approved by Genoa Township and in the process of being developed:
Courtyards on Maxtown
A single-family detached condominium community being developed by Epcon Communities consisting of 39 single-family units located on the northern side of Maxtown Road, immediately west of Heritage Church. Widening of Maxtown Road and an extension of the walking trail westward to Tussic Street will be completed as part of this project. For more information about this project, click here.
Glade at Highland Lakes
A single-family residential neighborhood being developed by Edwards Land Company in conjunction with Fischer Homes consisting of 45 lots located on the northern side of Big Walnut Road between Walnut Creek Elementary School and the Township's border with Orange Township. Improvements to Big Walnut Road, including a left turning lane and the closure of the Whispering Trail access to Big Walnut Road, will be completed as part of this project. Access to Whispering Trail will be provided through the Glade at Highland Lakes neighborhood. For more information about this project, click here.
Kroger/Northgate Plaza (Regency Center)
Construction of a new 7,323 square foot building in the southern corner of the existing Kroger parking lot, a 19,886 square foot expansion of the existing Kroger store; which includes the addition of a Pharmacy drive-thru window, renovations to the facade of existing Regency Center building, and replacement of signs.
Mirasol
A single-family residential neighborhood being developed by Romanelli & Hughes consisting of 82 lots on the western side of Worthington Road and southern side of Lewis Center Road, immediately north of Sheffield Park. For more information, click here.
Sanctuary at the Lakes
A single-family residential neighborhood being developed by M/I Homes and Planned Communities consisting of 209 lots on the east side of Africa Road, just south of I-71. The development will connect to the existing Highland Lakes Community. 23 lots are located within Genoa Township while the remainder are located within Orange Township. For more information about this project, click here.
Vinmar Village
A single-family residential neighborhood being developed by Ryan Homes consisting of 87 lots on the west side of South Old 3C Highway, immediately north of Vinmar Farms and east of State Route 3. For more information, click here.
