    Mission Statement:
    "It is the mission of Genoa Township to guide and manage the development of the township in a manner that retains or enhances the quality of life of its residents. Further, to be responsive to the needs of the residents and deliver quality services to meet those needs in the most cost-effective means possible."

    Planning a large party or get together? Visit our Forms page for information about renting our newly refurbished Town Hall. It is available to Genoa Township residents on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

    Visit one of our beautiful parks, or walk along historic trails...

    Naturally picturesque, Genoa Township has many recreational opportunities for its residents to enjoy. Among them, Genoa Trail, a multi-purpose paved trail on an abandoned railroad bed (Pennsylvania Railroad). When complete, the Trail will traverse the entire length of the Township from Maxtown Road to Plumb Road.

    Notice of Special Meeting May 15, 2008

    Draft Exterior Property Maintenance Code

    The Board of Trustees have published a draft code addressing the continued maintenance of the exterior of buildings and properties within Genoa Township.  Click here to download a copy.   The Board of Trustees are asking that any public comments be presented at their May 28, 2008 Board of Trustees meeting.  Comments can be made in writing prior to May 28 th .  They should be addressed to the Genoa Township Zoning Department, 5111 S. Old 3C Hwy., Westerville OH 43082 or vstainer@genoatwp.com .
